Behind this piece was to show how organizations are made up of various moving parts, and how managers sometimes struggle to keep their workforce motivated. To capture that “puzzle” we used a rubik’s cube as a driving metaphor in the animation.

Seeing as how the focus of this piece was managers and their teams, it was important to feature characters throughout, as well as show a variety of personalities and emotions.

In the end by combining both the rubik’s cube aspect and the people aspect, we were able to play with many different transitions and compositions that keep the animation engaging and interesting.
